Rice Pudding

Rice pudding ingredients:
2 C milk
3/4 sugar
3 slightly beaten egg yolks
2 TBSP butter
3 TBSP heaping corn starch or flour
1/4 salt

1tsp vanilla
2 cups cooked rice

Amberlee tried this rice pudding from The Crum Sister’s on Instagram. It’s their “cute little mommy’s” recipe and it is delish! I made it for the first time on Sunday for our grinch dinner. We all enjoyed it, even if it was green (for the theme! 😂)

In a large pan add: 2 cups milk, 3/4 C sugar, 3 slightly beaten egg yolks, 2 TBSP butter, 3 heaping TBSP corn starch or flour and 1/4 tsp. Salt.

Mix ingredients over medium heat stirring constantly making sure the bottom doesn’t burn.

Bring to a boil. Pudding will thicken. Take off heat and add: 1 tsp vanilla and 2 cups cooked rice.

Finish off with a good sprinkle of cinnamon! Serve warm!

*My notes- I doubled the recipe and used a mix of frozen rice/ fridge cold rice and it was great. I’d measure out all of the ingredients before because it comes together quick!! I used corn starch and felt like I really had to mix it good to make it not clumpy.
Also, leftovers were as creamy so I added a little bit of milk when heating it up. Not as great as the night before but still good!

Adding my picture of the who pudding from the grinch dinner for fun. Haha!
