Brussel Sprouts

This doesn't really need a recipe, but my mom wanted me to do a step by step process with pictures to show how i make my brussels. We eat these at least once a week in our house.

-Cut the brussels in half lengthwise.
-Put olive oil and butter in pan and get hot.
-Arrange brussels cut side down in pan and cook pretty high for a few minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic salt.
-Once they start to get a nice brown, turn the pan down and cover.
-Let cook 10 minutes or so longer to soften up.

I like to cook mine on  high long enough that they look nearly burnt. I think they are better this way, but cook them enough to your preference.
